When a referral is submitted, our team makes every reasonable effort to professionally represent both the referring party and the customer relationship. We understand that your reputation matters. CBS will act in good faith to support your referral professionally, respectfully, and in a manner intended to reflect positively on all parties involved. Our goal is to provide dependable communication, experienced technical guidance, and a professional customer experience from first contact through project completion.
To ensure transparency, CBS maintains a Referral Acknowledgement Program for approved opportunities that result in successful project completion. We believe professional referrals have value, and as a business principle, we do not expect professional introductions, opportunities, or business development efforts without appropriate recognition.
Where applicable, a referral acknowledgement payment or reward may be issued upon successful completion of a project, subject to the following considerations:
- Project scope and overall value
- Successful completion and payment of the project by the customer
- Project profitability and agreed service outcomes
- Compliance with applicable laws, company policies, and client restrictions
- Any pre-existing customer ownership, procurement requirements, or contractual limitations
Referral acknowledgements are reviewed and awarded on a case-by-case basis and may vary depending on the nature, complexity, and outcome of the opportunity. Certain commercial, government, education, healthcare, enterprise, or publicly tendered projects may restrict or prohibit referral compensation due to procurement or compliance requirements.
Submission of a referral does not create a partnership, employment relationship, agency, exclusivity agreement, or guarantee of compensation. However, CBS is committed to working collaboratively and in good faith with referral partners and believes that successful business relationships should be recognized fairly and professionally.
